In order to prevent water ingression due to the high water pressure, a special waterproofing concrete was adopted to build the shaft.

Hoga Iyota was tasked with setting up a CCTV and IP Camera to monitor work progress and for security measures. An Internet Protocol camera, or IP camera, is a type of digital video camera that receives control data and sends image data via an IP network.
